Medieval Villages in Catalonia
Hotel Les Planes del Grau is a completely refurbished 14th-century farmhouse, which used to belong to Sant Joan de les Abadesses Monastery.
It has 10 bedrooms, all of which have a small sitting area and a bathroom. The hotel also has a dining room, bar and living room, a large garden and an adjoining cattle breeding farm.
Located in the agricultural plain of the Ter, between San Juan and Abadesas Camprodon Plains remains a degree in a field of crops and livestock land, covered by pine forests and meadows of the Sierra Natural Guaitada and the slopes of the Sierra Cavalry. It offers an ideal space for standing, walking and horse riding or cycling in a unique place within the Natura 2000 network.
Surrounded by nature, Hotel Calitxó is a mountain hotel that offers comfortable rooms and twelve spacious suites, in a quiet and family atmosphere. The hotel has living rooms, a cozy bar-cafeteria and a restaurant where you can enjoy the best seasonal products.
Rupit
Located in front of the Medieval Castle of Santa Pau, this property is ideal for exploring the old town and enjoy beautiful landscapes.
The bedrooms at Cal Sastre, decorated in a traditional style with antique furniture. are the result of an elaborated and technical renovation of two cozy houses from the XV Century. It has been maintained a perfect harmony between the architecture and the exceptional environment of Sant Pau’s old town. All the rooms are exterior with views of the “Santa Margarita” and “Puig de Mar” volcano, as well as views of the “Sant Julia” Mountains or of the Santa Paula medieval Castle from the 13th century.
In the region of the Garrotxa you can practice outdoor activities discovering volcanic scenery and the natural park.
Hotel La Perla d'Olot, located in the heart of Garrotxa, is a family-run establishment that combines a cozy atmosphere with modern facilities.
Ideal for exploring the volcanic nature and the springs of Olot, it offers services such as swimming pool, restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and parking. With comfortable rooms equipped with air conditioning, TV and terrace, the hotel is designed to guarantee a peaceful and pleasant stay for all its visitors, whether for family breaks or business stays.
Peralada
El Moli hotel, lying in the very heart of Empordà by the river Muga amidst cornfields and olive groves, has been set up by Lladó family. An ancient mill, which goes back to the XVII century, has been turned into a warm and comfortable Hotel-Restaurant. It is a place perfect to relaxing and enjoying the nature. The Old flour mill was initially restored as a restaurant
The hotel offers 14 rooms; 6 masia rooms located in the main house and 8 Superior rooms.
8 Superior rooms with double bath with views to the nature, terrace, comfortable beds … and 6 Masia renovated rooms with all that you need, double bath and the comfort and relax that you deserve.
On awaking at El Molí Hotel you may hear both the murmuring of the river and the song of birds and breathing nature's fresh air as well.
Both parts are completed by some areas such an outdoor swimming pool, petanque, bikes and garage. It is a responsible and innovative building, which preserves his beautiful environment while offers calm and relax. And it combines perfectly with the restaurant where you could taste seasonal dishes with our region products.
The Hotel Can Miquel is located on the Cala Montgó beach, just 4 km from the center of L'Escala, in Alt Empordà. Cala Montgó is a clear example of the authentic Costa Brava, with the Montgrí Massif abruptly ending in a cliff framing a fine sand beach.
The hotel has 37 double rooms, 4 of them disabled-friendly and 2 with a garden, all of them recently renovated. All our rooms are doubles that can be converted into triples, bright, with a full bathroom and have a terrace with views of the pool and the mountains that are part of the Montgrí massif or the garden area. The superior rooms are doubles that can be converted into family rooms, with capacity for up to 4 people, more spacious and bright.
Its facilities include a private pool, a heated pool (not covered), two tennis courts, a garden area, a closed garage exclusively for clients, a restaurant with a terrace facing the beach and an open-air grilled meat restaurant. right in front of the sea. A place to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Costa Brava.
Palau-Sator
Hotel Mas Rabiol is a restored 16th-century farmhouse with large stone walls, which still preserves the essence and original structure. Set in a rural environment, it has eight welcoming bedrooms, a dinning room with a spectacular “ampurdanesa” vault, a reading room with fireplace and TV and several salons.
The Mas Rabiol garden, with 50,000 m² and a swimming pool, will delight young and old: a huge area to relax by the large pool to enjoy a nice swim in the summer heat.
Mas Rabiol is an ideal place for relaxing and switching off while enjoying the impressive Empordà countryside. It is the ideal starting point to explore the Empordà and enjoy any time of the year of all the possibilities offered by this very privileged area in the Costa Brava.
Begur
