Tamariu is a fishing village belonging to the municipality of Palafrugell. You can see the remains of the time when fishermen spent long hours gathered near the sea, in the huts on the beaches, with the "dels Liris" hut standing out.

There are also opportunities for water sports such as kayaking and paddle surfing, as well as boat trips to explore remote coves and sea caves.

Tamariu has a stretch of coastal path that leads to the village of Llafranc winding its way along the coast.
